This large home is around 55 squares and the lower level sits deep into the natural landscape. There was 3000 tonnes of material excavated to fit the home in which consisted of rock sawing and cutting with a 30 tonne machine. Retaining walls are plentiful here some being part of the dwelling and some part of the landscaping. The waterproofing and drainage detail were a major part of the construction.
